ABOUT / ME

The Mind Behind the Drape
To me, fashion is more than clothing. It is a language carried on the body — a way of expressing identity, emotion, and intention before anything is said. A shift in proportion, the movement of a fabric, or a carefully considered detail can transform not only how a person is perceived, but also how they feel.
As a womenswear designer, I am particularly interested in femininity and the many ways it can be interpreted. I am drawn to the relationship between garment and wearer — how clothing can frame, reveal, protect, or challenge the body while becoming part of an individual expression.
My practice is shaped by storytelling, cultural observation, and close attention to silhouette, material, and construction. I am especially drawn to contrasts: structure meeting softness, restraint giving way to expression, and familiar forms becoming subtly unexpected.
Curiosity is at the core of my design process. I translate research and observation into physical form through experimentation with material, silhouette, and proportion, allowing ideas to evolve through making. Alongside this exploratory approach, I value precision, organisation, and clear technical communication — qualities that help transform an initial idea into a resolved garment.
